Journeys to encounter God

with Notre Dame alumni and friends

 Lenten Holy Land Pilgrimage
February 28-March 8, 2020

with optional extension to Petra
March 8-10, 2020

The Gospel stories will never be the same after you’ve climbed Mount Cavalry, prayed the Way of the Cross through the streets of Jerusalem, and entered into the tomb of Jesus. Christmas will have new meaning after you’ve knelt in the grotto where he was born and touched the star that marks the very place where the Word became flesh. Jesus’ mission and ministry will take on new meaning after you’ve floated on the waters of the Sea of Galilee and shared Mass on the very shorelines he spent so much time proclaiming the Word of God to his closest of friends and largest of crowds. Come witness this and much more on the Lenten Holy Land Pilgrimage February 28-March 8, 2020.

Mount of Olives

Walk in Jesus' footsteps

Kneel in the Grotto where Jesus was born in Bethlehem. Dip your feet into the Jordan River. Follow the Way of the Cross along the streets of Jerusalem. Discover anew the humanity of Jesus.

Mount of Beatitudes

Rediscover Scripture

Cities like Bethlehem, Nazareth, Galilee, Jerusalem....sometimes we forget that these are actual places. On this pilgrimage, rediscover Scripture as you visit the places we read about in Scripture every day.

Overlooking Nazareth

Ponder the mysteries of our faith

Experience your faith like never before as you enter the Judean desert like Jesus did, as you visit the site of Peter's denial of Jesus three times, and as you kneel in the tomb of Christ.
