Find true fulfillment
The world tells us that power, fame, or fortune will make us happy. True happiness, they say, only comes with comfort and security. But our faith teaches us a different path. "Our hearts are restless until they rest in thee," said St. Augustine. A pilgrimage gives you the space and freedom to reorient your life in response to Jesus' invitation, "Come, follow me." Join the countless others who have walked before you in this ancient practice of pilgrimage - all in search of true fulfillment and joy - to be one with God in heaven.
"To find fulfillment, to gain new life, there is a way, a way that is not for sale, that cannot be purchased, a way that is not a thing or an object, but a person. His name is Jesus Christ."
- Pope Francis, World Youth Day 2016
Seek the Path of True Fulfillment
On pilgrimage, you practice a lifestyle which orients your entire being towards God. Stripping away all unnecessary distractions, you are able to fully immerse yourself in the search for God - a search which we know will bring us true fulfillment and joy.
Encounter Sacred Sites and Stories
There is no replacement for experiencing something first-hand. On pilgrimage we come face-to-face with some of the most holy sites in the world. We take time to truly encounter and soak in these places, making space for prayer and reflection, and discovering God's Spirit alive in the world today. In addition, we hear sacred stories of the saints and faithful who went before us, learning from their example and sharing in their search for God.
Share Your Story and Transform the World
The whole point of a pilgrimage is to return home - to walk down from the mountain - and share the Good News. We return home from pilgrimage to share our own story of faith and transformation. Just as Jesus told stories to touch people's hearts and the disciples had to leave the Upper Room to share the news of Christ's Resurrection, we, too, share our story in order to transform the world for Christ.
