Always wanted to walk the Camino?
Not sure whom to go with or how to do it?
We can help!
We are teaming up with the Diocese of Fort Wayne-South Bend to put out feelers to gauge interest levels for a Camino Pilgrimage sometime during the summer of 2018. Most likely, pilgrims would travel on their own to Spain (Madrid or Santiago) to meet up with the group. We would take things from there! Well, except for the hiking part...you will still have to do that.
What's the Camino?
The Camino is a popular walking pilgrimage route in northern Spain that ends in Santiago. The main destination is to the tomb of the apostle, St. James, who is buried in the Cathedral. For centuries, pilgrims have traveled this route in search of forgiveness, healing, and answers to any number of other prayers. Each day on the Camino consists of about 10-18 miles of hiking, and pilgrims stay in family-run albuerges along the way. A true pilgrimage experience!
